Just wondering if anyone know the best free downloadable software for music to transfer to itunes or that is compatible to load to ipod touch ?? I have BearShare and it isn’t for ipod touch nor can i transfer to itunes. Please help!

I have tried Limewire and Blubster but they have both given me viruses. Limewire gave me viruses so bad that I had to factory restore my computer and Blubster keeps opening pop ups. I was wondering what other free ones there was and if you guys knew of any.

Vocal removal method:

This is possible only for certain stereo tracks. When the vocals are exactly the same on both stereo channels, you can remove them by “subtracting” one channel from the other. This works for many studio recordings, where the vocal track is mixed exactly in the center. Be aware that bass and drums are usually panned to the center and can be removed or reduced also. Depending on how the track was mixed the vocal may only be reduced, not fully removed.

To do this in Audacity 1.2:

1. Import your stereo file into Audacity.
2. Open the track menu (click the arrow next to the track title), and choose “Split Stereo Track.”
3. Select the lower track (the right channel) by clicking it in the area around the mute/solo buttons.
4. Choose “Invert” from the Effects menu.
5. Using the track menus, change each track to “Mono.”

Press the Play button to hear the results. If you are lucky, the voice will be gone but most of the other instruments will be unaffected, just like a karaoke track. You can use the Export commands in the File menu to save the results.

Audacity 1.3.12:
Has a vocal remover built in. Just select the whole track then vocal remover from the effect menu.

I am looking for a great free downloadable music creation program that is much like the music creation program that you find on a mac computer. I like that program and I have a PC that runs on Vista. I would really like to find a program like this.

If you are referring to Garage Band on the Mac Audacity, although a good program, does not use pre-recorded music clips (loops) to create music..

I’m looking for an online music and rhythm game that can either be online or you can download it. If it’s a downloadable one it would be nice to be able to download custom dongs. I already know FFR JamLegend and a couple others, but just want to see what you guys know.

You can buy a single tune for very little money. They are good settings reviewed by a Gold Medalist piper. He also includes a recording of the tune as well.

Some of the free (and often illegal) settings you find floating around the Web are fraught with note errors—a result of careless conversion to digital format. Our band redid our tunes using sofware to match our revised settings and you’d be surprised how many errors crept in and we were being careful!

Find the video you want, and get the link for it.
Then, go to a free website host such as:
www freewebs com or www expage com
and paste the code there.
Save the website, and go to it while you aren’t logged into your account. Then you can right click on the link and Save Target As.
