Ok, so the music videos that I bought from iTunes also play as regular songs when I put my iPod music on shuffle. How do I get the music videos I downloaded from the internet to do this too? When I put those videos on iTunes it registers them as "Movies" instead of putting them in the "Music" section with a little screen next to them.

that’s because the video you download from wen site are FLV format
you need the MP4 format video.

I’ve tried to save music videos from Youtube. But i didn’t know how. I was clicking on random stuff. Can you even save music videos from Youtube? If not, where else? Because i wanna post videos. Can you show me the steps on saving the videos on youtube?

If your using Mozilla Firefox as a browser you can use their application called "download helper" to download videos from lots of different websites (including youtube) in various formats.

I have seen the music video Bring It (Snakes on a plane) by Cobra Starship before and I was referred to it from another video that was supposedly very similar. My question is does anyone know any music videos similar to that one? It would most likely be a popular band and the video made within the last 5 years. This is a silly question, but it’s driving me crazy.

Itunes has my videos in the music category! How do i fix it so it can be just music? The videos are set as music videos btw
The Music Videos are set as Music videos but they also appear in the Songs category?! How do i fix that so that songs are just in that category?

Because music videos has music. If you put it on your iPod it will also be in music section but the video won’t play only the music. And I think it’s normal because it happens to me too

I’ve got the most recent version of iTunes, and it doesn’t just let me drag the videos into the music folder, and when I do it through ‘Add files to library’ they all go straight into the movies folder. I want it so when I sync it to my iPod all the music videos, go under music videos, and don’t get mixed up with my movies.

go to itunes select all videos > Get info>yes to all>options>Media kind>just change to music video

Okay my friends and i are having a sleepover in a few days and we like to make videos. We want to try a spoof on a music video, but we need one that will be fun to do and preferably easy to film. We aren’t photoshop gods, so we only have so many options. But yea, thanks!

I have some music videos I downloaded from a different source than the iTunes Store and it adds them to the movies folder under the library. I was wondering if there’s a way to transfer them to the Music Videos playlist. It seems to be not possible, but I might be missing something. Suggestions?

I convert my Youtube downloads to mp4 then drag them to a folder which I have told iTunes to monitor.
It is all in the iTunes set up instructions. I am no expert so if I can do it you can )

I want to make a music video where I record the music and then line the video up with the music afterwards. iMovie 09 doesn’t allow you to put down music and then drag the video to the specific point you want. Also I find Final Cut Express isn’t that great for it neither. Or for that fact After Effects also.

Can someone please tell me some good software for making good music videos. I’m running OS X Leopard. Thank you.

The "best" would be the strictly professional, production-quality editors. Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, and Final Cut Pro are the major players.

After Effects isn’t an editor, Premiere is. Final Cut Express is a watered down version of Final Cut Pro.

Remember, you get what you pay for. You want the best, expect to pay for the best. These editors cost upwards of $700, not including the cost of hardware needed to run them.

I’ve set this music videos as a music video and not just a movie. But i had this problem that the music videos that should be in the videos section appeared also in the music section.
