How do I download free music on my phone without using Sprint Music Store?

I have an lg lotus and I do not have internet on my phone. The manual does not tell you how to download music using the usb cable. How would I be able to download music, screensavers, or ringers on my phone by connecting to my computer using a usb cable?

first make sure you have a microSD card because there insnt enought internal memory for many songs.

to download music with the usb cable go to
home >> tools >> mass storage >> connect pc
then it should ask you how you want to view the data (on your comp)
click view folders, then make a folder called music and copy and paste your files. then make sure you press disconnect when you finish.

also you can do it the same way with the microSD card (you dont need to do all of the clicking on the phone because you insert it directly to your comp)
