What does she mean by scarlet letter? Like he wrote a letter to her that was red, which stands for love? Or does she mean that she wrote him a letter in a scarlet envelope and that was how he knew she liked him? OMG I’m confused now. PS someone said that if she knew what scarlet letter really meant, she wouldnt say that about herself? I dont get it. This song is great and I think she meant one of the things I wrote about.
