How can I transfer music & video in iTunes from the administrator’s account to iTunes in a user account?

How can I share music to another account on the same Mac computer?

Some people told me I needed to put the files (music & video) I wanted in the sharing folder and then go to the user account and add those files to the user account library in order for them to share what I have in iTunes. Somehow I can’t do that. Can someone please explain it to me how?
