How do I get my music on my itunes without deleting the music on my ipod?

I want to transfer my music from my ipod touch to my itunes on my new laptop, how can i sync without erasing all my music? And without using transfer software? I just want to know how to get my music on without it deleting off my Ipod.

when you plug your ipod in the basic menu should come up and say show files, play files, etc. click show files and once you’re looking at the files on your ipod go to your options or settings and select "show ghost files". From there a new folder should appear and it should say "music" within that folder are all your songs. do not be fooled though, the songs will not be listed with the song titles. They will be titled random letters such as "XBXJ" or something like that. But do not fear because if you simply copy the files from this ipod folder to your computer. Then highlight all the selected songs you wish to have (they will all still have the random lettered titles) and just drag and drop into your itunes, and PRESTO! The song titles are back and all your music is on to your new itunes from your ipod. Goodluck!
