What music software and music equipment should i use to make my own music?

I am a musician and want to record my vocals and 2 different acoustic guitar parts. I was wondering which microphones i should use to record my vocals and guitar, and what the music software i should use to put them all together to create my song. Thanks!

    Makes me wonder how on earth The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys and Creedence Clearwater Revival ever managed without "software"

    Pro-Tools for such recording. Don’t use FL Studio if anybody recommend that for your purpose. It’s recording process is too tedious for dedicated recording.
